We offer the most current anesthesia protocols available for pets, including the use of isoflurane and sevoflurane gas anesthesias and a variety of injectible anesthetics. We routinely perform all general surgeries including spays, neuters, declaws, soft tissue surgeries (thyroidectomies, tumor removals, organ biopsies, c-sections), and orthopedic surgery.
For spays and soft tissue surgeries, we are proud to offer the Accuvet CO2 laser. The laser seals tiny nerve endings and pain receptors, helping your pet to recover with a lot less pain. In addition, the laser seals small blood vessels, which greatly reduces the amount of bleeding during surgery. Overall, your pet will recover quicker and safer.
We offer a pre-surgical screen with all surgical procedures – we run a blood chemistry to check organ function and an EKG to evaluate your pet’s heart to ensure that they are healthy enough for anesthesia.
