Ultrasonography and Radiographs

Ultrasonography

The use of ultrasonography in veterinary medicine offers an alternative to invasive diagnostic procedures. We offer a variety of ultrasound procedures based on the needs of the patient, including abdominal, cardiac, urinary tract, and pregnancy ultrasounds. It also gives us the capability to perform needle biopsies, usually without the risk of anesthesia. The cardiac (heart) ultrasounds are used to diagnose cardiomyopathy and other heart conditions in dogs and cats. Ultrasound images can easily be sent via the internet for review by board certified Radiologists or Cardiologists.

Radiographs (X-Rays)

We have state of the art digital x-ray equipment. X-Rays are taken and processed for view in 4 seconds. If necessary, the images can easily be sent via the internet for review by a board certified radiologist.
