Closed For Thanksgiving

We will be CLOSED Thursday, November 26th for Thanksgiving. If you need emergency care, the Animal Emergency Clinic in Springdale will be open 24 hours – their number is 479-927-0007. We will resume normal hours on Friday. We wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Arkansas Law requires that all pets be vaccinated for Rabies by a licensed Veterinarian.

Vaccinations are by far one of the most cost-effective medical treatments available. They can save your pet from unnecessary suffering or premature death, and can help save you from big veterinary bills.

For dogs, we vaccinate for Distemper, Rabies, Parainfluenza, Bordetella (kennel cough), and  Leptospirosis. For dogs that are exposed to ticks, a Lymes vaccine is available.

Dogs’ over the age of 1 are eligible for a Rabies vaccine that lasts 3 years, while dogs’ over the age of 2 are eligible for a Distemper vaccine that lasts 3 years.

Due to the high prevalence in Northwest Arkansas, we vaccinate for Bordetella and Leptospirosis every 6 months.

For our cats we vaccinate for Rabies, Feline Distemper and Respiratory complex (feline viral rhinotracheitis, and feline calicivirus), as well as Feline Leukemia Virus.
